  1. I’d enjoy an anime section since a lot of us gamers do watch anime. Probably that section would be talks of different anime people watch or suggestions of good anime as well as reviews…just a thought.

  2. i’d like to see the new forum software πŸ˜€

and it’d be nice to have more sections for certain things like route tsg on the home page so then we can get to all of them with out having to search through 9000 pages

  3. A gaming podcast, possibly? Or at least a separate segment within the TSG Podcast. It could contain discussion on recent game news, what everyone has been playing recently, any things to look forward to, ect…

  4. Two things.

    1. More news entries on the front page. You guys are doing such a fabulous job of posting gaming info that it fades to the second page too quickly.

    2. An official TSG logo. All the big sites have one, and I have a feeling TSG will be big soon. Maybe the clock design?

  5. You know what’s missing? Truth or dare and random questions boards~

Haven’t you ever wondered if Baltes has tried popcorn with mayo? You haven’t? Oh. Dare him to.

  6. I’d actually rather not have an anime section: Yes, anime is popular, but it’s kind of off-topic and anime sections tend to overpower websites that introduce them. If there are enough comments to merit an anime section then make one I suppose, but if that’s the case then you might as well make it part of a whole “cartoon” section and include animation from all over the world.

As for what I DO want to see, I’d like to see more personalized articles, by which I mean articles on very specific gaming topics written with a personal flair. You all are such characters, and that’s part of why your marathons are great. Why not let some of that shine on the site itself? Say one of you is very interested in music; why not analyze music throughout the gaming industry? If one of you is into obscure games, why not write some reviews of great, overlooked titles? You could even get weirder and have things like “the 10 best hats in gaming history” or “a look back on hideous FMV sequences of the past.” Whatever strikes you all’s fancy.

Make it more “you”! You guys ARE The Speed Gamers after all!

  7. I think it would be really, really awesome if you guys did daily (or every other day, or weekly or whatever) highlights of various community members. Maybe interview them, ask them about themselves, ect. It might even be really cool to highlight new-er members or people who have made cool things (like Let’s Plays, ect).

  8. Route TSG, TSGers reviewin stuff, and whatever else tickles yer fancies are all good fillers… and more Tyler? πŸ˜›
If any’a youse guys make comics, that’s one of the things that keeps me goin back to the WoW website even though I don’t play it anymore. Although, the site may not be big enough to warrant that just yet– but that’d be your call

  9. An anime section would be cool. A lot of gamers also watch anime. Also ad a place to put your steam account on the forums a long with xbox live gamer tags and play station network id.

  10. I’d love to see a better streaming mechanism. Atm it lags a lot when full capacity is reached and the image can’t be seen at all (at least for me), so, it doesn’t inspire me to actually watch you guys playing =/
    kkthxbye

  11. 1. I much agree with Carnage on the Gaming Podcast being created alongside the TSGPodcast.

    2. More bloggers would be good. Not that you, Oculin and the others aren’t doing very well Britt, but it would be nice to see some others. Also, you should expand in to other blogging sections. Such as having Reviewers, VideoReviewers, Reporters (To report various gaming news) and Bloggers (To post their thoughts on gaming and various gaming related things which they find interesting).

    3. A Vs. TSG would be good. I’ve had this thought in my head since I first watched Britt’s Route TSG run; if you think you could do better than a TSG Gamer in Route TSG, then send in a video of yourself speedrunning the game and trying to top TSGs! It’s own section would be quite fun.

  12. Yeah, Baltes with popcorn and mayo ;D Perhaps in the next Pokemon Marathon two candy canes in its nose?

Anyway, I agree about the streaming mechanism, it lags very often, sometimes one screen or both aren’t avaible… (for me)

  13. Ideas:

-Gaming Podcast, or gaming section within the TSG Podcast that would cover various news, releases, ect.

-Daily Video Summary: This could be done on a daily basis, where someone (I could volunteer as well) could make a 2-3 minute video news where you summarize all the game news of that day. This could also be done on a weekly basis as well.

  14. Another thing I thought up: Having a section that has a game and list people that play the game along with their GT/PSN ID/Wii Code for that game. We have something like that in the forums…but it tends to get buried and people have different interests in games of a certain console.

  15. “More bloggers would be good. Not that you, Oculin and the others aren’t doing very well Britt, but it would be nice to see some others. Also, you should expand in to other blogging sections. ^This. Very much this. I mean, gaming news is fine and dandy, but a personalized flair would be incredible. You guys -are- The Speed Gamers, and being able to see your insight into games and gaming would be incredibawesome. There’s enough people considered ‘famous’ throughout TSG to be able to have something, anything, at least once every day.

A TSGCon would be a bit much, but I would definitely love to see TSG attendance at a Con. I’d sign a petition to get you guys a guest spot in a heartbeat. πŸ˜€

More spots for news on the frontpage would be nice, as well as a different section for TSG news vs. Gaming news.

Make it easier to see stuff like Route TSG and TSG Vs. without looking endlessly through pages. It wouldn’t be too hard to get R:TSG up in the TSG Originals section, would it?

Last but not easiest: Make some way for the marathons to be viewable after the fact. I’m going to do a test once I get all my stuff settled in where I’m moving to to see how much constant streaming my HDD/DVR can record, and then use it to record as much of the Halloween marathon as I can to help this.
There’s no reason newbies can’t view things like, say, Baltes’ ridiculous donation stunts or Tyler’s unbelievable appetite (that diabetes doughnut was just disturbing).
