Capcom says no plans for Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star in North America

Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star, a remake of the original Mega Man Battle Network, might not be heading to US according to Christian Svensson, Capcom’s Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development.

Over on the Capcom Unity forums he was asked about a US release and replied “For the moment, no plans for a Western release.”

On the bright side, it is a remake so you could essentially play the game in Japanese and kind of know what to do already if you know the first game like the back of your hand. Also Capcom listens to their fans, so maybe if they make enough noise the title will get localized.

  1. Europe’s still a possibility… right? D: Oh gosh-darn-wibble-wobble it, I’ve been looking forward to this game more than any other this year, including KH:BbS and FFXIII. I know the original pretty darn well though, so I’m importin’ this first chance I get!
