Director of MadWorld interested in doing a sequel

SEGA may be shying away from M rated content on the Wii, but Platinum game’s Shigenori Nishikawa who directed MadWorld is looking into the possiblity of the sequel.

I think MadWorld was very well received and was acknowledged for its innovative graphical style and gameplay. We would definitely be interested in making a sequel in the future.” Nishikawa said to Official Nintendo Magazine.

It doesn’t seem Nishikawa plans on straying the title away from the Wii though as he calls the system “a very well-balanced piece of hardware.

Do you want a sequel to MadWorld? Or would you rather have Platinum Games focus elsewhere?
