Dragon Age: Awakening expansion details and release date

On March 16th BioWare will be releasing the expansion to their successful WRPG Dragon Age: Origins.

Dragon Age: Awakening will let you explore a new area called Amaranthine. Along with new lands to traverse, players will gain new spells, abilities, specializations and items. Five new party members will be available, but new enemies will be added as well including the Inferno Golem and the Spectral Dragon.

All of this can be playable using your previous character if you import your data from Dragon Age: Origins. Those who want to fresh start though can create a new character as a Grey Warden.

The expansion will be sold at a budget price of $39.99. You can check out the site here.

  1. Aw man, I love dragon age, and I’m tottally ok with a $40 expansion, it gives me an excuse to replay the game. And since the expansion is about the same price as the PC version of the game, I suspect it will be absolutly massive. Like shivering isles was in Oblivion. I can’t wait.
