Monter Hunter Tri gets free online, preorder bonus, and demo disc at Gamestop available March 8th; new screen shots

Capcom is really trying to push the Monster Hunter series in North America and their most recent announcements about the title show their determination.

First of all, North American players won’t have to worry about that silly online subscription fee that Japanese players will have to pay. All you have to do is pay $50 for the title and then after that it is absolutely free.

Their second move is that Capcom will be teaming up with Gamestop to give out free demo discs of Monster Hunter Tri. On March 8th you can hop on down to your local gamestop and pick up the demo absolutely free. No pre-order required, just pick it up.

Lastly, Capcom will be offering a special pre-order bonus at Gamestop where players will receive $5 off their purchase and 500 Nintendo points to spend on what ever they please.

Those looking forward to Monster Hunter Tri can pick up the full game on April 20th exclusively on the Wii.

Nice bunch of screen shots after the jump.
