Rumor: Dead Space Extraction and Planet Cracker heading to PSN and XBLA

A recent consumer survey suggests that PS3/360 Dead Space fans might have a go at the recent Wii outing Dead Space Extraction which barely scraped in some sales.

The survey said that the port would retain the on-rails gameplay as the original, but with HD visuals. They were considering asking $15 for the title on XBLA and PSN.

The survey also mentioned another possible Dead Space title known as Planet Cracker which would be a “resource strategy game where players will manage a CEC Mining operation. Planet Cracker would be an extension of the Dead Space 2 story and could offer in-game rewards in the retail version of Dead Space 2.

Both of these titles were mentioned to be possible candidates for pre-order bonuses for Dead Space 2 when the game launches in Q1 of 2011.
