Lunar: Eternal Blue Remake Could Happen if Fans Want it

Lunar is a series that, while not incredibly popular, has quite the following. There hasn’t had a new entry for awhile, minus Lunar: Dragon Song, but every once in awhile a remake pops out.

A remake of Lunar: Eternal Blue, the sequel to Lunar: The Silver Star, looks to be on the table according to Lunar: Silver Star Harmony’s Producer. …we fully acknowledge that the fans are asking for Eternal Blue.” But it seems the title still needs a bit more of a push to actually become a serious project. “Game Arts really thinks that the US publisher, Xseed, is the best partner so please send them tons of requests.”

So if you really want to see a remake of Lunar: Eternal Blue to hit, send Xseed some E-mails! Buying Silver Star Harmony would probably help too.

    I’ve been waiting for this game for nearly 6+ years. It’s about FREAKING TIME. [I never got to play it due to the lack of a Sega Saturn in my household, and have been dying to get my hands on it]

    Now if only the growlanser company would come to the same realization. :_____;

  2. I keep hearing mixed things about Eternal Blue, some people say it’s one of the best JRPG’S ever and some say it has the storylien of a bad fanfic.

    Although I would quite like to play it for myself.

    And Lunar 2 came out on PS1 and I’m satisfied with that one. I wouldn’t say it was the best JRPG ever. The gameplay was actually amazingly boring, but it had rather interesting dialogue and a very touching story. And at the time, it was a HUGE deal that over 50% of the dialogue was voiced over.

  4. I would love for this to get remade like silver star story. I still need to get my hands on Harmony but I have not been able to play Eternal Blue at all.
