F.E.A.R. 3 Officially Announced; Teaser Trailer

The third title in horror first person shooter series, F.E.A.R.,  has been confirmed. While the logo says F.3.A.R. the game is actually titled F.E.A.R. 3 according to the press release. Not sure how we would have pronounced that…fthreeearfthrear

Anyways, F.E.A.R. 3 has the return of Alma and her two sons, Point Man, a genetically engineered super soldier,  and Paxton, who has telekentic powers.

The single player focuses on Point Man. But if you grab a friend to play with you, he or she can control Paxton in a co-op mode. Both players have different abilities and skills, so the second player won’t simply just be another gun.

Other details have been kept quiet, but you can check out a trailer from IGN after the jump.

F.E.A.R 3Fthrear is set for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and is currently planned for a Fall 2010 release.

  1. Live action trailer…weird. But it looks like the developers taking over have some cool ideas, and I heard they’ve got John Carpenter as a consultant too.
So count me excited! BRING ON FUHTHREAR.

  2. Trailer looks… I don’t know. Freaky is an understatement. Hey, we now know what Point Man looks like know.

Also, according to my sources COUGHgiantbomb.comCOUGH F3AR isn’t the official title. It’s just going to be F.E.A.R. 3.
