After leaving and suing Activision, Ex-Infinity Ward heads, Jason West and Vince Zampella, are getting their feet on the ground in the gaming industry. The duo have formed a new development studio called Respawn Entertainment. They are currently in the process of creating a development team, so they can start work on their first project.
The studio already has a deal with Electronic Arts to publish titles from the developer.
As of right now, Respawn Entertainment has no concrete plans what their next project will be. One might assume a shooter based off their past experience, but Jason West, President of Respawn Entertainment, says “really, at this point the sky’s the limit. All doors are open. We’re going to get the team together and start there, and then we’ll start kicking around ideas about where we want to go.”
It will probably be awhile till we see or hear anything about their next project, but we can probably assume that it will have some sort of a splash when it hits.
