Square-Enix Looking Into Making Threads of Fate A PSone Classics; Asks Fans for More Suggestions

Square-Enix recently announced that Final Fantasy IX is heading to PSN. Now they are looking at another title called Threads of Fate.

Shinji Hashimoto wrote on the twitter post, Dew Prism (the Japanese name of Threads of Fate) is extremely popular amongst some people. Perhaps we should think about a download version.”

Square-Enix is also now asking fans for their PSone classics suggestions. On their Japanese twitter account, they asked fans to post their top three most wanted titles – the most popular of which are currently Chrono Cross, Dragon Quest VII, and Legend of Mana.

  1. Dragon Quest VII won’t happen unless Square-Enix marketing pulls out their trump card. The creator already said there will be no direct ports of Dragon Quest games and that they must be significantly different enough in order to get re-released.

Shame, though. Dragon Quest VII is incredibly expensive and it’d be nice to get it on my PS3.
