At Nintendo’s latest investor meeting, Iwata for the most part kept quiet about the 3DS. Iwata did address some concerns from investors about the device.
The first concern was on increased piracy in European and Asian markets. Iwata’s reply was simply that they plan on adding more security measures to prevent piracy.
The second concern was the potential of 3D gaming damaging children’s eye sight. Iwata’s solution was that the 3D feature of the DS can easily be turned off and on.
While some people may be happy about the feature, I find it a bit concerning. Unless only certain games can be have 3D turned on and off, every game would have to be playable without the 3D setting.
We will have to wait till E3 to see how everything will work. Only about a month away!
