Square-Enix announced one of their long time Japanese exclusive DS games is heading to North America, Final Fantasy: The 4 Warriors of Light. But what about the others? Sigma Harmonics, SaGA 2, and Blood of Bahamut are probably the most recognizable DS games yet to leave the country. But it looks like a localization of Blood of Bahamut is looking less likely.
Square-Enix trademarked the term in North America quite some time ago, but the trademark has since been abandoned by them. There is a chance that they are looking to publish it under another name, but there is currently no signs of them doing so.
Any, at least half decent, game not coming out in a certain region is not cool in my book. I think anyone almost every gamer has gone through this at one point, and its definitely not a good feeling knowing that you were so close to actually getting a title only to have it pulled away from you.
Hopefully the title will make it over, or at the least see a fan translation.
If you aren’t familiar with the title, you can check out a Japanese trailer after the jump. It sort of resembles Shadow of the Colossus, in the sense that you fight huge monsters.
