Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem Remake to Include Satelliteview Chapters

A quick heads up, apparently I’ve been leaving out a part of the Fire Emblem remake’s name for the DS.  The full name is actually Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem – Hero of Light and Shadow ( that’s longer then Super Robot Taisen Original Generation Saga: Endless Frontier!)

Anyways, to the news! The new remake is getting a little something special, aside from just customizable main characters.  Back in 1997, Nintendo released four chapters for Fire Emblem via the Satelliteview system for the Super Nintendo.

Aside from emulation, I don’t believe there is a way to really get your hands on the content currently. But that will change soon, the DS remake includes the four chapters from the Satelliteview. These chapters are grouped under the name Fire Emblem: New Record of Akaneia Wars.

Nintendo has yet to announce the title outside of Japan, but we will probably see the title overseas at some point.  You can check out some new character art after the jump.

You can also check out some gameplay videos at official website.
