Japanese retailers are letting the info flow on the upcoming WiiParty title. First, we learned about possible bundles and release date for the title, but now we get some actual game details.
In WiiParty, players can expect to find over 80 minigames. The retailers listed a few examples including Wii Remote Hide and seek, where a player hides the Wii Remote in the room then other players search for it using a sound that the Wii Remote will emit, Sensitive Bomb, where players hold the Wii Remote like a bomb and try to pass it to other players without shaking it, and Wawa Karuta, where players have animal sounds come out of the Wii Remote and then they choose the correct animal on the screen.
From the sounds of it, it looks like at least a few of the games will center around your actual physical environment. It’s an interesting idea that sounds cool on paper, but I’m not sure how well it will fold out in actual practice.
The retailer listing also has a mash up of screenshots, which you can find after the jump.
