Two classic movies franchises are getting video games thanks to TellTale Games. TellTale, who has been working on the latest season of Sam and Max, has formed a deal with NBC Universal to develop episodic games under the Jurassic Park and Back to the Future names.
These titles won’t be simple adaptations, but new stories within each series. TellTale’s CEO Dan Conners went into detail of what direction they plan on taking the stories, saying “I wouldn’t call these games sequels per se but a new interpretation of their worlds for a new medium.”
Both series are set to debut this Winter on the Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360.
