Gamers tend to hate water stages in video games. Awkward physics and controls create for some frustrating gameplay, but 505 games is tackling underwater gameplay head first with Deep Black.
Deep Black is a third person shooter that will take part largely underwater. Players move around in the water using special underwater jet packs. The game will include a arsenal of special underwater weapons from your typical guns, harpoons, and more. While 505 games didn’t talk anymore in terms of details about the game itself, two screenshots were released, which you can check out after the jump.
Deep Black is currently set for a Q1 2011 release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This seems like one to definitely keep an eye on if you are tired of all the generic shooters out there.
