Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collector’s Edition

GameStop has posted a listing for the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow collector’s edition, well the Xbox 360 one. As of right now, GameStop lacks a listing for the PlayStation 3 version, but it looks like there is a good chance a listing is on the way. Gamerzines found a Mexican retailer who is listing a PlayStation 3 version. It also includes an image of the PlayStation 3’s collectors edition.

Anyways, let’s talk about what is inside this lovely little bundle. Those who pick up the collector’s edition will receive the usual sound track and a 30-40 page art book… and that’s it! Unless you include the special box.  It seems a bit light, but it will only cost gamers $79.99 to pick up, adding only $10 to the price.

You can check out both the PlayStation 3 version and Xbox 360 version after the jump. The Xbox 360 version looks like it has more, but the game actually comes on 2 discs due to the limited size of the Xbox 360’s DVDs.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is set for a Fall 2010 release on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

  1. Where do you live that the game is normally $70? And are you talking US dollers? Cuz new games are always $60 in the states, so charging $80 for a special edition is $20 more than usual.

I’d gladly pay $10 for a full soundtrack, especially for a game like Castlevania that is bound to have some moody fantasy-style music. But another $10 for an art book and weird case… not sure about that.
