If you’re a hopeless social reject like myself, you probably get a lovely kick out of playing those old school board games. While I personally have no greater joy than a good game of Scrabble, Monopoly would always do in a pinch. Especially when my friends landed on my red hotels and they ended up bringing out the violent ouchy sticks.
Anywhoo, a Wii port of the Parker Brothers beloved game is hitting the Wii with fantastic looking graphics and fun for the whole family!
Check out new and more interesting features, as well as awesome screenshots after the jump.
Monopoly Streets is a re-imagined version of the classic board game. The bright and vibrant towns [ranging from the world’s many cultures/famous towns] that you explore feels more alive as you wistfully work your way to your friends’ financial downfall into poverty.
While the game features a “standard play” with official rules [Which, by the way, did you know that landing on Free Parking doesn’t actually give you the cash in the center? I’m at a loss for words on that one…], or you can create/develop your own rules and time limit. Online play is also a plus to find other hopeless social rejects to play with!
Monopoly Streets will be out for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii on October 26 for a price tag of 39.99.
