More Rumors Supporting Splinter Cell & Prince of Persia HD Collections

You gotta love the internet. We recieved word of retail listings from a website named Zavvi for HD Collections of both the Splinter Cell Trilogy and Prince of Persia Trilogy.

Both collections were first rumored to be in production when a French Amazon listing featured both titles last month.

These will be very similar to other HD collections released such as the God of War and Sly Cooper Series.

According to Zavvi, the Splinter Cell HD Collection will release on November 26th 2010, while the Prince of Persia Collection will come out on March 11th 2011.

More details after the jump.

Although it hasn’t been confirmed, it is very likely that the Prince of Persia Collection will feature the Sands of Time trilogy, which was a series of titles released for the PlayStation 2 from 2003 and 2005.

The Splinter Cell Collection will feature Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

While this has not been officially confirmed, it is very likely that both Collections are real.

  1. First I’ve heard fo these rumours. Still, with the ICO&SotCHDC (Which has been heavily rumoured for years) announced recently, I’m pretty sure this is real. Guess I’ll have to hold of getting the PS2 PoP games then.
