Rumor: Mega Man Legends 3 in Development

A couple of days ago, former Capcom director Hideki Kamiya teased that Mega Man Legends fans will be “happy soon.” While it is still too soon to be 100% officially happy, it seems that another rumor may be pointing to exactly what Hideki was teasing.

A inside source that only goes by the name “The Shadow” claimed that Mega Man Legends 3 is indeed in development. According to him/her/it/thing, the title is set to be revealed to the public soon after Capcom closes up development on Mega Man Universe. The Shadow reports that the internal name of the game isn’t Mega Man Legends 3 at the moment, but it is intended to be a follow-up to the series.

So you may be asking, why even consider what some guy on the Internet named “The Shadow” says? The Shadow was the source of the original leak for Mega Man 9. Most of his claims were pretty much dead on when it came to the NES throwback title.

Rumors are rumors though. So for now, we will have to just sit back and chillax while looking forward to Mega Man Universe.

    1. Honestly, I didn’t play it. I picked it up in a bargin bin, tried it till the first encounter with Tronn Bonn (however that’s spelled) and never picked it up again.

    2. Actually, I recently saw a poll where fans picked their favorite Mega Man series and Legends was at the very bottom. It just has a cult following like the Mother series, albeit much smaller.
