New Crackdown 2 DLC Coming This Month

Ruffian Games has just announced a new add-on for Crackdown 2. This DLC is to be called “Deluge” and will feature a new mode where four-player work together to fight off waves of enemies (Left 4 Dead, anyone?).

The pack will also add a mode called “Capture the Orb”, which is basically a capture the flag game type with some slight modifications to weapons and vehicles. The DLC is set to release on November 16th.

If you want to try out the Deluge pack before you buy it, you can get the free trial version, which includes the full Capture the Orb mode, and a single-player sampling of the Deluge mode.

The full premium pack will cost you 560 Microsoft Points ($7), and includes both the Deluge and CTO modes as well as some brand new achievements and avatar awards (as well the chance to hear some achievement related jokes from HQ).

We’ll also see a Windows 7 game coming sometime in November, titled Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst. The tower defense game using Bing maps to render your defense area (sweet!), so you can defend your actual home town against the freaks of Pacific City.

The Deluge pack and Project Sunburst are built to work together, so you can unlock bonuses in each game by playing the other. Exact date and price details for Project Sunburst weren’t given.

    1. True, but Left 4 Dead is one of the most well known 4 player zombie game, so I went with it. I’m sure there’s plenty of games that Deluge mode is similar too.
