Telltale’s Poker Night at the Inventory Trailer

I think anyone who sees a poker game with franchise characters slapped all over it is skeptical of the release. Sure, there’s bound to be some fan service and funny dialog, but how long does it last? Eventually, it is just poker. Of course, that doesn’t mean TellTale’s Poker Night at the Inventory can’t go beyond that, I’m just a bit concerned.

Anyways, after the jump you can find yourself a lovely preview of some of the dialog between the title’s four characters: The Heavy from Team Fortress 2, Strong Bad from HomeStar Runner, Max from Sam & Max, and Tycho from Penny Aracde. Good stuff, but I think the real draw for the title are the exclusive Team Fortress 2 items from the title. Those who preorder the title even get a poker hat for Team Fortress 2 as well.

The title comes out this month on PC and MAC, and will available for $4.95.

  1. Although, I am looking forward to this game, being a poker fan, the main concern I have with this game is the lack of multiplayer. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t beat a round of TF2 with your friends, but a good round of Poker with your friends (possibly with betting of the unlockable TF2 items as well) would be a nice change of pace.
