Fan Translation of Shin Megami Tensei: Soul Hackers recieves first trailer

The first Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner game was released in Japan exclusivly for the Sega Saturn which was later ported to the PSP Which is considered by fans to be a good entry into the series. However DS recieved a sequel in the form of Soul Hackers which was released on the Saturn also and then ported to the PS1. SH is considered to be one of the best entries in the MegaTen series and that’s saying a lot. Which is why Megaten fans are likely to be happy that Megaten: Soul Hackers for the PS1 has recieved it’s first English Teaser trailer. The translation is headed by professional Fan Translators Tsumi. A translation team whose previous works include translating Persona 2: Innocent Sin for the PS1 (And ended up doing a better job of it than Atlus did for Persona 1 and Eternal Punishment), A faithful translation of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and another faithful translation of Tales of Phantasia for the PS1. The trailer can be found after the jump.

  1. Finally, it’s showing some result. I’ve been wanting to get the translation so I could play this. Thing is, I hate this style of dungeoneering. Oh well, perhaps I’ll give this thing another spin once it’s all done.
