Mirror’s Edge Franchise Not Done, Says Soderlund

In a recent interview with GamePro’s German cousin concerning Battlefield 3 being unmoddable, there was a little bit of info that nearly slipped through the net that Patrick Soderlund, EA’s Senior Vice President, mentioned the company is working on something to do with the franchise.

The game was widely seen as ambitious, but flawed, and also notable for having a theme song called Still Alive. While he was not willing to say what they were working on, he merely confirmed that they were working on something. While Mirror’s Edge was a nice way to try and open up a new genre of games, it would be nice to see a Mirror’s Edge 2 with all the flaws taken out. For your listening pleasure, here’s the aforementioned theme song.
