So it’s the last Obligatory Ice Level Day post. It’s day 10, and that means we’ve come to a close here. But when you get to the very end, that just means the story’s about to reach a great conclusion. That’s why today’s ice level is Mount Lanakila, from Pokémon Sun and Moon!
The next-to-last OILD post! And it’s pretty adorable. It’s the season for giving! The season for making people happy! The season for all sorts of fun decorations! That’s why today’s ice level is World 5, from Yoshi’s Woolly World!
Day 7 and getting closer to the 10th and final post! But before that, we need to give shout-outs to that adorable birdie that shows up in almost all ice levels ever; the penguin! Penguins really are the cutest things ever, don’t you think? They’re just so cuddly and sweet and squishy. That’s why today’s ice level is the Icy Ocean, from Yume Penguin Monogatari.
Day 6 of Obligatory Ice Level Day and while most of the other days have covered old games, it’s time to give some love to a newer classic. And hey, it has weird rainbows in it, so it fits the theme! It’s the Stranded Ship, from Shovel Knight!
Day 5 and we’re halfway through Obligatory Ice Level Day. And speaking of splitting things in half, it’s time for a very special ice level. One that has an entire TV Tropes page named after it. Of course it’s Hailfire Peaks, from Banjo-Tooie!
Day 4 of Obligatory Ice Level Day. That’s right, Day 4. 4. The DEATH NUMBER. Life can get frustrating and terrible, but occasionally there’s a way out of a bad situation. A bad situation like, say, diving head-first into spikes or falling down a bottomless pit every 30 seconds. That’s why today’s ice level is Cold Man’s stage, from Rockman & Forte.
