Shadows of the Damned Monster Concept Art Surfaces

Shadows of the Damned is the product of an unusual collaboration between Grasshopper Manufacture (Creators of Killer7 and the No More Heroes series) and EA (the company that EVERYONE knows because they publish Soukyugurentai under the name Terra Diver to the US, making it the first time a Raizing game has made its way to western territories… and EA make a couple of sports games that no-one really knows much about). The game focuses on Garcia Hotspur’s quest to go into the depths of Hell to rescue his girlfriend. Some new concept art from the game was recently released today showing some of the nightmareish monsters from the game including monsters with minotaurs clouded in electricity, Zombies with exoskeletons and a guy with a cage round his face. See the full roster after the jump.

Eternal Darkness Concept Art Show Alternative Endings

If you haven’t played Eternal Darkness (and I recommend that you do), Eternal Darkness was a survival horror game released by Silicon Knights for the Gamecube. The game follows the story of Alex Roivas as she explores the mysteries surrounding te death of her late grandfather. Despite it being critically acclaimed, the game sold poorly as Silicon Knights went on to make Too Human which was… less good. Either way John Dobbie, the former assistant lead artist for the game showed of some really interesting concept art¬†showing more alternative endings which reveals unused ideas not used in the final game (Eternal Darkness had four endings when it was finally released.) It definetly helps to expand on what was already a very well defined world and it is well worth a look if you were a fan of the original game.

Next Tales of game concept art released

The next Tales of game (not Tales of Unitia as many people thought it was called) will mark the 15th anniversary of the Tales of studio and will be a PS3 exclusive. Details of the game are scarce however earlier today, some new concept art has been released showing some of the various areas in the game. The style of the game seems to be darker than previous entries in the series, probably going for more of a Vesperia look with a very open world though I’ll let you be the judges of that. Concept art shown after the jump.
