Galaga Legions was the less successful of the Namco’s attempts at updating their arcade classics. Pacman CE DX and Pacman CE both took most of the limelight by adding more to their base games original concept and in Pacman CE DX’s case creating a completly new game with a similar visual style.
Namco is showing no signs of stopping with a new update in the works for their arcade classic Metrocross named Aerocross and the upcoming release of both Pacman CE and Galaga Legions on 3DS. Galaga Legions DX seems to be the next title that’s going to see the light of day and Namco just released a trailer for it. Check it out after the jump.

As many of you know, Namco has been pretty secretive in releasing info for their next main Tales of Game (Grace F was released last week and Radiant Mythology 3 will be released on the PSP and PSN Febuary 29th). So this is probably a good time to remind all Tales of fans that Namco will finally unveil the mysteries of their next mothership title. Detaisare scarce about the game other than Namco have trademarked “Tales of Zestia”, “Tales of Xillia” and “Tales of Faithus” More details will be released December 16th 8am GMT (That’s 1pm EST if my Time Zone knowledge is correct).
To capitalise on the Tales of fandom (and their now non existant US/UK fanbase), Namco Bandai announced that they’d be over 20 playable Tales of Characters cameoing in Venus and Braves; a Niche PS2 JRPG that is getting a PSP remake. The game was never released overseas (surprise surprise) however it adopted an interesting game mechanic in that the main character was immortal and that over time, your party memmbers would eventually wither and die. Obviously I’d love for this game to be released overseas though Namco doesn’t have a good track record of that.
And so the new PS3 Tales of gane that will commemorate 15 years is finally named… kindof. Namco have trade marked five names for the next installment of their popular RPG Series: Zestus, Faithus, Xillia and two versions of it in Katakana (Hopeful overshores release much?). Aside from some gorgeous promotional artwork, very little is known about the game although Namco have released a teaser site showing that more will be known about it in 64 days time (16th of December by my calculations).
Famitsu announced a list of all the games currently confirmed to be released in Japan for the 3DS. Such games include: Mega Man Legends 3 (About Time), Super Monkey Ball (Because anything is better than Banana Blitz) and… TALES OF THE ABYSS?!?!?! Read more about this surprising annoucement after the jump.
Edit: Now with screenshots! There’s also news that the game should be released next year though it hasn’t been stated whether this will just be in Japan.

Street Fighter and Tekken are finally meeting with Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter! As with past Capcom vs. / X titles, the name that comes first is the one who is developing it. So Capcom is developing Street Fighter X Tekken and Namco is developing Tekken X Street Fighter. Both titles are on the way to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, so you will be able to enjoy both on a single console.
There hasn’t been much talk of Namco’s Tekken X Street Fighter yet, but Capcom is ready to talk and show. Street Fighter X Tekken is being developed using the Street Fighter IV engine. The gameplay takes place in 2D, but like Street Fighter IV, uses 3D models. The game also will feature 2 character tag team gameplay, similar to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
Capcom release both screenshots and a teaser trailer. You can check out both of those after the jump.
