Great news for Xbox360 owners [*grumbles*PS3*grumbles*]! You can now purchase the DLC for Fallout New Vegas, entitled “Dead Money” for the rather low price of 800 Microsoft Points. With new weapons, new characters and new mission material, it’s a great deal that can help extend the already long life of the game.
Dead Money will follow the Courier as he/she finds themselves embroiled in a life/death game in search of a long lost treasure of Vegas.
No word on PC/PS3 release times for the SAME CONTENT. I wonder how much it would take to bribe Mass Effect’s directors to offer Mass Effect 3 DLC for Ps3 only [thus promoting PS3 sales of the game] and see how THEY LIKE IT. >:/ [Yes, it’s not very professional to use emoticons, but this situation warrants it.]
As many of you are probably aware, Fallout New Vegas has some Xbox 360 exclusive content heading our way! Thankfully, Bethesda has recently released a trailer with a sneak peek of what’s to come. You can check out the full trailer after the jump.
Dead Money will follow the Courier in a gigantic heist, but with a rather gruesome twist upon it involving a nasty neck collar.

Although Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood just released back on November 16th, Ubisoft has already revealed plans for a new game in the series (most likely Assassin’s Creed III) for release next year, despite an earlier statement made by Ubisoft that they would be taking a break from the series in 2011.
A few days ago, Ubisoft released a survey with 15 questions asking players what they would want to see in the next Assassin’s Creed. While it is unlikely that Ubisoft will base all of their decisions for the game based on the results of the survey, the list certainly includes many things that Ubisoft will likely consider.
You can check out the full survey after the jump.

Yes, you did read that correctly. A gamer has actually completed Fallout New Vegas without killing a single human or creature. While gamers probably know it’s possible to end the game without killing any of the final bosses or enemies, getting strong enough to fight through the Wasteland without killing is the real challenge.
After the jump, you can see a maxed level cap with the zero kill rate.

Fallout New Vegas has finally gotten its first patch for the console versions, and I can personally confirm an improved level of gameplay, and less freezing. Senior producer in the Fallout team reports that it has fixed over 200 minor glitches and freezing issues, but that it has not fixed all the problems. I can also verify this, because while my gaming experience is much better now, there is still stuttering issues and I’ve had a single freeze when I tried to do too much at once. While there’s a long way to go before the game is up to actual standards, it’s a start, and I’ll take a start.
I recently became obsessed with the Fallout universe, and with the recent release of Fallout New Vegas, I immediately knew I wanted to experience more of the greatness that was Fallout 3. So, does New Vegas continue to keep my attention within the Fallout universe, or did it go bust? Find out more in my full review after the jump.

As with any large-scale games, there are going to be bugs… However, Fallout New Vegas seems to have enough for the entire industry.
Gamers and reviewers everywhere are reporting that the games are causing consoles to completely freeze and require a hard-reboot, which as any gamer can relate to, is a big issue when attempting to complete a game, and losing hours of scavenging and leveling. [I can personally confirm this, as I’ve already had to hard-reboot my PS3 at least 6 times now.]
But more hilarious [or disturbing] is the PC bug at the beginning of the game, which has the beginning doctor lose his head. No… Not like with a temper either. I mean, he LITERALLY LOSES HIS HEAD. [You can check out the disturbing video after the jump.]
I can also report [from personal experience with the games] that there are “stuttering” everywhere, and the freezing seems to occur when you try and do too many things at once. Or.. You know… Walk into a wall. >_<‘
There’s also a lovely number of glitches. I was looking for a certain character, and while I was “on top” of him, he was nowhere to be found. Going into my 3rd person long view, I found that he was stuck in the ceiling, attempting to walk and shoot invisible enemies. Poor Deputy… Stuck in the roof of a casino for the rest of his pitiful existance. :*(
But, to make a nice observation, the entire game is fantastic, ignoring the bugs, naturally. <3 You can see my full review this Sunday.

Portal 2 was recently confirmed at Gamescom for a February 9th, 2011 release date. Today, Valve gave us a little taste of what the 2 player Co-Op mode will look like. It shows a puzzle involving momentum (something that that fans of the original will remember), that would be impossible if not for the synchronization between the two players. In co-op mode, two players will control two different robots who must work together to solve challenges like the one shown. Check out the clip from GameTrailers after the jump.
