Before the Tokyo Game Show has even begun, we’re already getting too many epic announcements. Looks like Team Ninja is taking over the realm of Devil May Cry, creating a “reboot” of the series, with an all new art style and new types of weapons. However, it “will retain the series’ signature mix of sword and gunplay but add additional weapons, all new powers and a revitalised gameplay system as players encounter the game’s devilish mix of enemies and navigate the rich, interactive environment.” After the jump, check out all the new screenshots & the trailer for the game. Looks like Capcom has really outdone itself this time.
“A darker, more bloody game.” – Koei
Before the insanity that is to be the Tokyo Game Show, Tecmo Koei has announced Ninja Gaiden 3, leaving gamers with one sole image that you can see after the jump. There is no release date or platform information available. One peculiar aspect, however, is that Ryu’s face is unmasked, and the one image shows a visible person within his eye? Could the series be taking a different turn than it’s usual “kill everything in sight” type of gameplay?
