Today the Europe Square Enix Members blog confirmed the company’s complete E3 lineup, as well as a promise to have a new Tomb Raider trailer up tomorrow. You can see the full list below.
- FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 (PS3, Xbox 360)
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
- Hitman: Absolution (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
- Tomb Raider (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
- Dungeon Siege III (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
- Heroes of Ruin (Nintendo 3DS)
While it reveals nothing we didn’t already guess was going to be there, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Type-0 are both missing much to my chagrin, it will undoubtedly still prove to be a solid lineup at this year’s conference.

PSN is down and no one can buy anything or play online games. Sony has been telling us to wait constantly for the past few weeks and pushing back dates over and over. It looks like they have finally just given up on specific dates, but they are saying that it should take a couple more days. Which is what they said the time before and the time before. If you don’t know about the current issue over at Sony, they were hacked by an unknown group and had a lot of their networks security compromised. Information such as names and passwords are confirmed stolen, but they continue to say that they aren’t sure any credit card info was gotten.
The first aspect of PSN that will be coming back up will be online games and to compensate for the wait Sony is going to be offering 2 free games off of PSN from a list of 5 and to PSP users another 2 free PSP games off of PSN from a list of 4. We can only assume that these games will be first party Sony releases most likely, but not much more than that. You can read the full quote here as well “I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process.”.
Once again developers delay a highly anticipated game and fans get sad. Ever since we were calling The Last Gaurdian Trico it has been a long and arduous road. Looks like it’s about to get even longer as the game has been delayed into 2012 possibly. Considering the date before then was just 2011 Holiday, and even that was only for Japan for certain. Hopefully it isn’t delayed a full year and it’s only into January or February.
Another character for Platinum’s HD action game, Anarchy Reigns, has been announced as Nikolai Dmitri Bulygin and he has a super cool weapon. Obviously as you can tell from his name you can tell his weapon is a variation on the Tesla Coil but in robot fist form. There is a new character trailer to go along with the announcement so check it out after the jump.

No More Heroes Red Zone is going to have a lot of new features some of which aren’t really a big deal in America but are in Japan. They are bringing the blood to the Japanese version of the game and giving it a CERO Z rating. It’s will have Playstation Move support, 5 bosses from No More Heroes 2, 10 new missions, a Boss Battle mode with online rankings, and a “forbidden view” mode.
Considering we are seeing No More Heroes Paradise I doubt we will also be getting yet another version of No More Heroes in America, but it is cool that they are adding so much stuff to a super cool game.
We found out that Final Fantasy VI is getting a re-release in japan on the PSN and we now know the price. It’s going to be the PS1 version that added cutscenes in and it should cost around 1,200 Yen which is around 15 dollars US. Final Fantasy VI is often considered the greatest Final Fantasy game and most definitely one of the finest 2D JRPG’s ever made. We can only hope this release makes it over to the US.

Bioware is looking to finally bridge the upcoming Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect 2 with their new DLC, Mass Effect: Arrival. The story is focused around a mission to save a spy who has information on a coming Reaper invasion. Presumably, this is the very same invasion that will become the focal point for Mass Effect 3. You can pick it up on the 29th, the Tuesday after the launch of the 3DS.
As part of the XBLA House Party, Beyond Good and Evil was released on XBLA today for a mere 800MSP. The game is famous for recieving low sales upon launch with a strong cult following developing as time went by. Ubisoft have even said that they will consider a sequel to the game is the sales of the HD version are well. While the game is currently only avaliable for XBLA, Ubisoft confirmed today that the game will be a timed exclusive and it will recieve an eventual PSN release. Ubisoft have commented how a lot of time and care has been putting in from remaking the game from the ground up to make sure that this was less of a cheap port but a complete HD overall that would do justice to the greatness to the original. An exact date (or quarter) hasn’t been confirmed yet but for any 360 who wants to try the cult classic, make sure you have 800MSP to spare and 1.86GB left on your hard-drive.
The highly anticipated game from the Persona team, Catherine, came out in japan last week. The game has adventure aspects wrapped around a verticle platforming block puzzle game. According to many Japanese and American players the game is just too hard. Most people playing are interested in the story aspects and apparently Atlus made the puzzle bits excruciatingly hard even on easy. Luckily Atlus is going to release a patch to address the difficulty soon. I understand people don’t want to be frustrated by a game, but I think they should leave the original difficulty options in there for someone who want’s that challenge.
