Insomniac to go multi-platform.

Insomniac has recently signed a deal not unlike the one Respawn did with EA partners. Insomniac has been know for creating some of the best Sony exclusives around and along with this deal they announced a new IP on the way. No details were given as to what the new IP may be, however it can have nothing to do with Ratchet or Resistance because those are owned by Sony. The head of Insomniac has stated that it is unlikely that we will hear anything more until much later. All we know right now is that it will be coming to the Xbox 360 and the PS3.

I have always really enjoyed the Ratchet and Clank games. While fun they have gotten a little stale to me recently. Resistance 2 was also in my opinion a huge let down. Lets hope they can work their magic and birth something beautiful out of this marriage

Ratchet & Clank hits stores October 27 in the U.S

Sony has dated Ratchet & Clank Future for October 27 in the US. Other regions haven’t gotten release dates yet.

I was late jumping on the Ratchet & Clank bandwagon, not owning a single game in the Insomniac franchise until Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It really is a top tier platforming series that any fan of the genre should not go without playing. I’ve recently gone back and started buying the entire series for relatively cheap prices. You can snag each game new for around $20 or under on Amazon, excluding  Tools of Destruction, which will run you around $28 brand spankin new.
