Gamestop doesn’t seem to have a problem with listing prices for products it hasn’t received official prices for, but even so they now have the NGP listed for a release date of January 1st, 2012 (which also seems like a strange date) on their website, but more importantly, with a price tag of $299.99.
Again, this is ONLY A RUMOR so take this information with a grain of salt. A $300 price tag seems appropriate for the NGP, which would notably be more expensive than the 3DS (but we were already expecting that), but with more potential capabilities than Nintendo’s handheld. No matter what, a price in this rumored range is definitely a lot better than the Playstation 3 at launch date ($599.99).

Well, we’ve finally gotten an official release date for Pokémon Black and Pokémon White versions from a press release earlier today.
In the press release, they shattered rumors of the April 17th or so release date and instead announced that the games will be released in North America on Sunday, March 6th in 2011!
Nintendo also said in the press release a lot of things we already know, such as version exclusive areas, Reshiram and Zekrom, and the changing seasons.
And for you TSGer’s, we no longer need to worry about not having access to english versions of the game during the marathon.
A trailer was also released for the games, which you can find after the jump

PopCap’s hit series (without the series, PopCap might not even be around) is finally getting a new installment. That’s right! Bejewled 3 has just been announced for a holiday release date of December 7.
The game will feature four game modes from Bejeweled 2, along with four new game modes, all of which are slightly modified from the Bejeweled 2 version. The modes include Poker, Ice Storm, as well a Quest mode that features 40 quests and 11 mini-games.
Bejeweled co-creator Jason Kapalka said at the press release, “The challenge in creating a new version of Bejeweled is to innovate and keep it fresh and exciting without losing touch with the game-play that millions of people love. So we’re very careful when we make changes to the core game, which is why it can take so long!”
This seems like a smart move for PopCap, seeing as how Bejewled games are extremely popular, with an estimated 50 million units sold to date. A holiday release will be sure to boost those numbers, and we should expect great things.
Shantae: Risky’s Revenge, the sequel to the popular Gameboy Color platformer, Shantae, had been giving an official release date. The game, developed by WayForward Technologies, will be coming to DSi Ware on October 4th, 2010.
The original sequel to Shantae, Shantae Advance, was presumably cancelled after its announcement a few years ago. It seems that WayForward has FINALLY stopped pushing the game back from its original planned release of Holiday 2009.
Today at the Final Fantasy 13 premiere party, Square-Enix’s President Yoichi Wada announced December 17th 2009 as the Japanese release date for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 13. As for a western release date, all Square-Enix would say is “spring”.
