More Pokepark Wii: Pikachu’s Great Adventure details

Andriasang found a retailer listing for Pokemon Park Wii: Pikachu’s Great Adventure that revealed a bit more information on the game and gave a more detailed look at past information from the title

Pokepark is divided into areas like “Forest” and “Ocean”. Each area is visited by different Pokemon. You must play as Pikachu to befriend these Pokemon to have them help you save the park. In order to befriend a pokemon you will have to play a Mini game, for example a tag game where you play tag with other Pokemon, a battle game where you lower the Pokemon’s energy, and a quiz game where the Pokemon will ask you questions.

Pokemon you have befriended will help you in “Attractions” which are more difficult then the regular mini games. These include “Furi Furi Race” where you waggle the Wii Remote in a race to the goal, “The Habataki Sky Race” which will require the help of your befriended flyingPpokemon and “Marine Slider” which requires Pokemon with swimming skills.

There is a “Viewing mode” which allows you to watch pokemon play and take pictures of them that you can save to your SD card.

Pokepark Wii: Pikachu’s Great Adventure is currently set for a December 5th release date in Japan and will ship with a Pikachu themed 3D sticker that you can put on your Wii Remote.

Is that GoNintendo has a picture of a poster for the game. The poster is after the jump.

  1. TBH, I’m not really all that surprised by a game like this. They’ve already done one per system (Hey You Pikachu, Pokemon Channel, something in between). Personally, I think it’s more of a WiiWare title.
