Metal Gear Solid HD collection coming to XBLA & PSN

The release of Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and Peace Walker for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 has been known about for a while now (along with a code that can be redeemed to obtain the original Metal Gear Solid for the Playstation 3 version). However in a recent development, Konami plans to release each game as separate downloads on the Playstation Network and the Xbox Live Marketplace. Peace Walker is already planned for a download on the Japanese Play Station Network for 4,480 en ($58 although an international release will probably be cheaper). The following two weeks later, MGS2&3 will be released two weeks later on November 23rd for either 3,480 en each ($45) or 4,980 for both ($65). It has also been confirmed that all three titles will be available on XBLA sometime next year for an unknown price.

    1. I think this is just like the God of War stuff where you can buy either the collection or the downloadable versions (for those who only want one of the games). I don’t think they’re scrapping the collection.
