As we gear up for our Final Fantasy Marathon for St. Jude, we’re excited to announce TSG Replay!
Beginning June 28 at 6pm CT, our Twitch page will begin vodcasting clips and highlights from TSG through the years up until July 13 (the day before the marathon begins). This playlist will include a mix of marathon highlights, stream clips, and other videos that will help you remember why you became a fan of TSG in the first place. We’ll also be vodcasting the entirety of our most recent marathon: March’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Marathon.
This is just one of many surprises that we have in the works for TSG, and we hope you enjoy this one as much as we will! Remember, the chat on our Twitch page will be live throughout TSG Replay, so feel free to interact as we reminisce! You can also join in on the fun on Discord at http://discord.gg/thespeedgamers!
Enjoy TSG Replay, and we can’t wait to kick off our Final Fantasy Marathon 2017: Pixels vs. Polygons for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 6pm CT on July 14!
So it’s the last Obligatory Ice Level Day post. It’s day 10, and that means we’ve come to a close here. But when you get to the very end, that just means the story’s about to reach a great conclusion. That’s why today’s ice level is Mount Lanakila, from Pokémon Sun and Moon!
The next-to-last OILD post! And it’s pretty adorable. It’s the season for giving! The season for making people happy! The season for all sorts of fun decorations! That’s why today’s ice level is World 5, from Yoshi’s Woolly World!
Time for Day 8 of Obligatory Ice Level Day, and you know what? Team Hyrule Sux. So really everyone should have seen this ice level coming. It’s the Ice Ruins, from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds!
Day 7 and getting closer to the 10th and final post! But before that, we need to give shout-outs to that adorable birdie that shows up in almost all ice levels ever; the penguin! Penguins really are the cutest things ever, don’t you think? They’re just so cuddly and sweet and squishy. That’s why today’s ice level is the Icy Ocean, from Yume Penguin Monogatari.
Day 6 of Obligatory Ice Level Day and while most of the other days have covered old games, it’s time to give some love to a newer classic. And hey, it has weird rainbows in it, so it fits the theme! It’s the Stranded Ship, from Shovel Knight!
Day 5 and we’re halfway through Obligatory Ice Level Day. And speaking of splitting things in half, it’s time for a very special ice level. One that has an entire TV Tropes page named after it. Of course it’s Hailfire Peaks, from Banjo-Tooie!
Day 4 of Obligatory Ice Level Day. That’s right, Day 4. 4. The DEATH NUMBER. Life can get frustrating and terrible, but occasionally there’s a way out of a bad situation. A bad situation like, say, diving head-first into spikes or falling down a bottomless pit every 30 seconds. That’s why today’s ice level is Cold Man’s stage, from Rockman & Forte.
It’s Day 3 of Obligatory Ice Level Day! As I mentioned, this year’s theme is “colors”. Everyone knows that the traditional holiday colors for the season are red and green, and those very colors show up in Obligatory Ice Level Day! But did you know that green and red represent amphibians and the blood of their enemies? It’s true! That’s why today’s ice level is the Big Arctic Cavern, from the arcade Battletoads!
Day 2 of Obligatory Ice Level Day! Sometimes it’s okay to take things slow, but other times, you need to do the right thing as quickly as possible. That’s why today’s ice level is Battle Glacier, from Freedom Planet!
