Pandora’s Tower is the recently announced Wii RPG being published by nintendo. Featuring a girl who has to eat the flesh of beast’s to keep from turning into one, and you has the person who fetches those beast’s. The control scheme and actions that you can perform in the game are the main news here. The plot has your character wielding a chain that can rip flesh off of beast’s for the heroine, Ceres, to eat and and for swinging around and using it to contrain beasts to go in for the kill.
The whip like motion of the chain makes it seem like motion controls would be certain, however they are allowing you to control with a classic controller or a Wii Remote and Nunchuck. There are many doubts that this game will ever see a US release, but it sure looks interesting.
This may be unsuprising considering the work EA is putting into the upcoming Mass Effect 2 port, but it is interesting considering how big of an Xbox exclusive this game started out being. I can safely say it wasen’t Halo, but Mass Effect that made me get a 360. Mass Effect is a fantastic Sci-Fi universe up there with the likes of Star Trek for me, and the series has been, like many other Bioware classics, based around player choice.
The original game boasted that the character transfer to the second game would be significant in it’s effect and they did not lie. The choices made in one have some pretty major effects on the world you adventure through in two. It looks like next Holiday anyone with an HD capable console or decent PC will be able to enjoy Bioware’s Opus.
The funny thing is that while it may be coming to all three console the character transfer capabilities have all but confirmed that I will own the trilogy on 360.
In the sterling tradition of RPG trailers Bioware released a cinematic only trailer for Dragon Age 2 at Gamescom. This is that same one with about 40 seconds of extra footage and French subtitles. The trailer is quite pretty, however, as usual it shows me absolutely nothing new about the way it is going to be played.
Check it out after the jump.

The news spawned from some calls for jobs and after Computer and Videogames did a little bit of digging we have found it to be an Action RPG. It is supposed to be being made in conjunction with some sort of well known talent.
Volition is more commonly known for their 2 action franchises Red Faction and Saint’s Row. They have been pushing into the silly style of modern openworld games that used to be occupied by Grand Theft Auto with Saint’s Row and their Red Faction games are doing great things for enviromental destruction.
