Firmware Update: COD BanHammer or Serious Flop?

Is the latest firmware update [meant to stomp down on cheating and pirating] a big success, getting people exactly what they deserve, or a gigantic flop hurting lots of “innocent” gamers?

Sony is ON TO YOU!

Well, hopefully not YOU specificially, but they’re on to the hackers that have cracked the PS3 through a faulty firmware update.  THANKFULLY, however, Sony is aware of the problem and has thought of the most fantastic way to fix the problem!  More firmware of course!

We are aware of this, and are currently looking into it…  We will fix the issues through network updates, but because this is a security issue, we are not able to provide you with any more details.” says a Sony representative.

I just wish the updates didn’t take the same amount of time as it takes to make a fine French Dinner on a barbecue  bit in the middle of Montana during a Tornado Hail storm.

PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray 3D Update Coming in October

Sony recently announced at their IFA press conference that the 3D Blu Ray Upate for the PlayStation 3 will NOT arrive this month, but instead next month, in October (They even told us October is about 30 Days away). This means you’ll just have to wait just a bit longer to watch some of your favorite movies. Then again, there aren’t too many 3D Blu Ray Movies available at the moment, so this added wait time may be for the best.
