No More Heroes Red Zone is another HD Version of No More Heroes

No More Heroes Red Zone is going to have a lot of new features some of which aren’t really a big deal in America but are in Japan. They are bringing the blood to the Japanese version of the game and giving it a CERO Z rating. It’s will have Playstation Move support, 5 bosses from No More Heroes 2, 10 new missions, a Boss Battle mode with online rankings, and a “forbidden view” mode.

Considering we are seeing No More Heroes Paradise I doubt we will also be getting yet another version of No More Heroes in America, but it is cool that they are adding so much stuff to a super cool game.

Pokemon Typing DS Get’s an Adorable Trailer

There is absolutely no way that Pokemon Typing DS will get localized considering the weird keyboard peripheral they are shipping it with. Still we can always enjoy it’s cute marketing materials and maybe if you really want to you could import it for an exuberant price. Nintendo has released two new trailers showing off the game and how it plays. If you want to check them out hit up the jump.

Japan Says That Catherine Is Too Hard

The highly anticipated game from the Persona team, Catherine, came out in japan last week. The game has adventure aspects wrapped around a verticle platforming block puzzle game. According to many Japanese and American players the game is just too hard. Most people playing are interested in the story aspects and apparently Atlus made the puzzle bits excruciatingly hard even on easy. Luckily Atlus is going to release a patch to address the difficulty soon. I understand people don’t want to be frustrated by a game, but I think they should leave the original difficulty options in there for someone who want’s that challenge.

Rumor:Retro Game Challenge 2 Fan Translation *Update*

*Update* Tiny Cartridge has now confirmed that it’s happening and they are in need of translators who can read Kansai. So if that is you get in contact with X-Virus to help my dreams of playing this game in English come true.

So Tiny Cartridge has been posting a few videos that can be found on the Youtube use account Arino 2011 that show Retro Game Challenge 2 running with english text’s and images. Promptly after seeing these my excitement peaked and I became interested. I sent a tweet to the publisher of the first game in the US X-SEED to ask if they might have had a change of heart and decided to do the sequel. Unfortunately their response was “These are not the droids you are looking for.”

It definitely gets the point across. Another big point toward this being a fan translation is that in the second video the copyright is for when the game was released in Japan and not for this year. I would be thrilled to be able to play the sequel to what was both a fantastic collection of fake retro games and the game based on my favorite Japanese television show Game Center CX. Check out the video after the jump.

Exporting Miis from Wii to 3DS is a One Way Transfer

We’ve recently recieved a ton of new information regarding the upcoming Nintendo 3DS. Stay tuned throughout the morning for a several updates detailing all of the new info we learned regarding the handheld.

The first thing that Nintendo confirmed were the logistics of importing Miis from the Wii to your 3DS. Unfortunately, it seems that because the 3DS offers a more robust creation process, the Wii cannot import Mii’s created or edited on the 3DS. However you can import Miis from the Wii and edit them on the 3DS to make them even cooler.

Bill Trenen, NOA’s product marketing manager, had this to say: “You can send your Miis from your Wii to your 3DS. But, because the Mii Maker on the Nintendo 3DS is a more robust program and has newer features, like hairstyles and eyes and things like that, the Miis you create there can’t go back to the Wii.”

While this is unfortunate, it’s certainly not as big as being unable to import Pok√©mon from Gen II to Gen III was back in the day, so we’ll just have to accept it.

El Shaddai Hits Japan in the Spring

El Shaddai is Ignition Japan’s first big self developed title. It has an odd modern take on a biblical tale taking place in the Book of Enoch. The devil is shown as a modern looking 20 something wearing jeans and a nice shirt with a cell phone while you play a more traditional looking holy warrior wearing white armor. The basic game is going to be an action game that combines 3D action and some 2D stages as well with a very unique art style. The game will be hitting Japan on April 28th of 2011. There’s still no word on the English release but they should be announced shortly.

There is a teaser site up teasing some sort of solid announcement for the actual game a little bit before TGS.
