Rumor: Capcom vs Nintendo May be a Possibility

At yesterday’s Nintendo 3DS event in Amsterdam, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono was asked if Capcom would ever consider including Nintendo characters in their fighting games. Certainly, this would greatly increase their appeal for all ages. Not only did Ono seem enthusiastic about the idea of including Nintendo characters, but he revealed that he would like to do a full blown Nintendo vs Capcom

Ono also wishes that this idea be pitched to Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Nintendo’s popular fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and well as Kid Icarus: Uprising for the 3DS

This is all just Ono’s opinion, of course, but seeing that he was so enthusiastic to the idea, it’s possible his dream may actually become a reality sometime in the future.

Marvel VS Capcom 3 Fate of Two Worlds : No Demo Version

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Strategic Planning Vice President Christian Svensson [on the Marvel VS Captom division] has announced that there will NOT be a download demo of the upcoming title.

Svenson also announced that there will be down-loadable characters for a small fee.  While most gamers are quuk to rise up in anger over teh subject of paying full retail price for a game, and getting nickel and dimed on the extras, Svenson stated that “DLC is part of the business model these days given the massive costs of production and can be the difference between a profitable product and an unprofitable product.”

My many condolences to the TSG fighting game thread viewers and contributers.
